The last 3 years I have been treating myself to a new ‘Google Pixel‘ phone at Christmas. So, this year it was the ‘Pixel 7 Pro’ & I opted for the 512GB model given that there are days when I can take upwards of 500 pictures!

Though I had it since early December I didn’t get around to setting it up & activating it till today. I usually aim to get it done on January 1 — i.e., start the new year with a new phone. This year I was just too busy & I need to be in the right frame of mind. Migrating from one phone to another, with all the APPs I have to re-logon into, & the devices I have to pair is somewhat stressful (or, at a minimum an hassle).

To be fair to Google it went fairly smoothly. No complaints as such.

So, as of now, this will be my new phone cum camera.
