It just struck ME because ‘Colombo‘ is my hometown — where I was born 70-years ago. [I left in 1969.]

That is a LOT of cargo going to Sri Lanka. WOW. I thought they were short of foreign currency and had strict import controls. I wonder what is in ALL those containers. A lot of containers. Doubt whether any of those will make it to Ceylon any time soon. Wonder what the impact will be.

I had never given it much thought prior to this. What does Sri Lanka IMPORT from the U.S.? What is it that they can’t get (for cheaper) from Asia? Interesting. I need to look this up.

In 2001, when ‘9/11‘ happened terrorism did NOT cross my mind! I genuinely thought that it was either pilot or air traffic control errors. I called a friend, who was a pilot, to tell him what was happening. He was Jewish. He immediately said “terrorists”! Different mindset.

23-years later I am WITH HIM.

As soon as I heard the news, I thought terrorism!

I was amazed that it was RULED OUT so quickly.

But, what about CREW SABOTAGE. One or two crew members could quite easily sabotage the engines or the all-important electrical/electronic system.

COME ON.

American pilot BUT 22 FOREIGN CREW MEMBERS. [Yes, I know their nationality.]

I will NOT rule out crew sabotage — AS YET. AS YET. I want much more proof.

Let’s NOT forget ‘Malaysia Airlines Flight 370‘ which disappeared 10-years ago — & has yet to be found. Many suspect sabotage by one of the pilots.

So, COME ON.
