Appears that what I show at the very top is what the 2022 ‘Georges Duboeuf‘ ‘Beaujolais Nouveau‘ bottles are going to look like.
I will confess that I think that it is probably the ugliest wine label I have ever seen! Yikes. What are supposed to be two glasses of wine look more like dangling bull’s testicles. Yes, I know that you mustn’t judge a wine by its label, but dear Georges Duboeuf could sure have done better.
I didn’t have the time to check this year, BUT if the last few years are anything to go by, they have a worldwide COMPETITION for the design of the label. If that was the case, they are saying this was the BEST they got. Wow. I find that hard to believe.
Well, here’s keeping my fingers crossed that the wine will be 10,000 times more appealing than the label. SMILE.
