I have absolutely NO FEARS that NVDA, AVGO, ARM, AMD & TSM will be higher in 3-months than they are today. Other than TSM, which I only started dabbling in recently, I have owned NVDA & AVGO for YEARS — NVDA close to a decade! SMILE.
I bought into ARM, within weeks of the IPO, close to the IPO price. I, alas, did NOT get an IPO allocation though I tried.
I decided to DIVERSIFY a few months ago by buying some AMD. Yes, that is how I diversify. I buy MORE Semi stock — just new companies (to I) like ARM, AMD & TSM.
I know semiconductor stock. I understand the SEMI business. I only invests in things I understand (& usually use).
Oh, I am NOT all in Semis. I own more AMZN than anything else. Smile.

The first three didn’t apply to I. I don’t take them. Not even sure what they are.
Then BANG! BINGO. #4 & #5.
Statins. I have been taking Lipitor for 26 years. Ditto Toporol XL. Wow. That might have a bearing. I will have to ask a doctor.

YouTube put up this video as a RECOMMENDATION for me, this morning — given that I invariably watch ALL the ‘Revels‘ videos that they recommend. I am a sucker for Revels and YouTube panders to this affliction.
The SARI look was UNMISTAKABLE. Indian. I had never seen or heard of an Indian-themed Christmas Revels. But it is BRILLIANT. They should do another.
This was from 1997. That was the YEAR BEFORE I went to my first Revels — with ‘Revels North‘ in ‘Dartmouth‘. It would be another 17-years before I started going to Cambridge. So, this was before my time with Revels.
Great to see the GREAT ‘David Coffin‘ as a dashing young man. I got to meet him, in person, in December. This was great. Made my day. Check it out.

Wow. I knew he had been arrested etc., BUT had not heard/read that he had been in prison since October of last year. Wow. Heard about the new 10-year sentence, on ‘BBC News‘, this morning. I was shocked. Maybe even shaken.
Imran the cricketing legend. Imran the superstar. Imran the incomparable lady’s man — & even us males have to admit that he really was devastatingly handsome. [He is 11-months my senior.]
I have seen him in person a few times when we were both in England at the same time. Once, famously, I saw him in the car park of the Hampshire Cricket Club, Southampton Grounds, canoodling with a young lady. I did say “Hi, Imran” as I walked past. It would have been rude not to acknowledge him.
Beyond that fleeting encounter, I have two other ‘connections’ with Imran.
1/ The title of my first, and financially my most successful book, “SNA: Theory and Practice“, in 1984, was conjured by a rather brilliant young lady who was an ex-girlfriend of Imran’s during his time in Oxford. She was in charge of marketing for the publisher. I did not have a title for the book. But I explained to her what it was about and how I structured the book to first explain the architecture and then how the architecture was implemented. I was thinking along the lines of “SNA: Architecture and Implementation”. She came up with the much better title. Given that she knew that I was a cricket fanatic she would remind me, every time we met, that she knew Imran in the Biblical sense. Wish I could remember her name. So that is the first connection.
2/ Imran, in his 1988 autobiography, “All Round View“, shed light to me as to why he and I are both accused (often) of being arrogant — though he, obviously, has better reasons to be so, than I. In that book he EXPLAINS how his parents had brought him up to be arrogant. It was an Eureka moment. My (adoptive) parents too had brought ME up to be arrogant. It was a part of how we were brought up. Cultural. We, the first generation of post-independence kids to aspiring upper middle class families, were expected to be arrogant. It all became clear. Now I understood.
So, Imran is not just a name. I feel a connection with him. I feel bad for him — as a person, a cricketer. I REALLY HAVE NO idea what he got up to as a politician. I do know he is very clever. Much cleverer than I.

I, for very good reasons, DON’T trust ANY tax software! Period. I know — & I have been proven right multiple times — that my date will be COMPROMISED, EXPLOITED & SHARED. I don’t want anyone, BUT anyone, other than the IRS knowing about my taxes. I am a very private person.
I have been using FFFF for close onto a decade. It is NOT perfect. But, it does what I want.
Yes, I do my TAXES by HAND!
I know how to do taxes by hand. You should too. Useful skill.
Yes, I was trained by one of THE BEST over a period of 16-years.
Now I know how to do it by hand, I am NEVER going to lose that skill.
FFFF saves me from having to do in on paper — in pencil. SMILE.

This article came up this morning on my ‘Google News‘ feed — as one that I might find interesting. I idly clicked on it to see IF there were any that I was NOT familiar with. I was blown away. Lot that I had never heard of.

She has LOVED snow, unconditionally, from DAY 1. There was a LOT of snow on the ground, in Iowa, the day we got her — 3 years ago. That day, was the first time she had been outside. So, her first encounter with the outside world was one filled with snow. Took to it like a duck to water. Has loved snow ever since then.
Love to LIE in the snow. Though her belly is SHAVED (& exposed), the cold does not seem to bother her. She will stay out, in the snow, as long as we will.
The snow does NOT penetrate her coat (as you can see). It sits on top. She can shake it off, BUT she prefers for us to towel her. SMILE.
