No comments. I am NOT an expert on old people or what is considered healthy looking.
Just wanted to make sure that YOU saw and you got to decide.
I will CONFESS that I anticipate a 2024 conclave — and don’t forget we still have 8 long months left.

I suppose that when people say ‘healthy’ in this context they are referring to the fact that he is not losing weight rapidly. That is usually a bad sign in the elderly.
Whether Francis is actually healthy or not, I do have to disagree with the 2024 conclave prediction. I think everyone from God on down is aligned with waiting until 2025 when Njue ages out.

Wow. So, the corollary, i.e., gaining weight, must be a GOOD sign. Never knew that. Well in that case Francis (& I) will live forever. From the little you can see (given that he is invariably seated) and judging from his IMPRESSIVE JOWLS Francis has to have achieved one of his goals. He has to be as BIG as J23, IF NOT bigger. He is twice the man he was.

I am already WAY AHEAD of Idi Njue (which is NOT hard to do). You do KNOW he is Kenyan … right (despite me calling him Idi)? Well Idi plans to emulate the MOST FAMOUS Kenyan when it comes to birth certificates. In Sept. 2024 he is going to claim that AT LAST he managed to get a COPY of his birth certificate. He will say that he was INDEED RIGHT. He was born on Dec. 31. That is TRUE. He got the YEAR WRONG. It is NOT 1944. His mistake. It is 1954. Idi Njue born Dec. 31, 1954. OK. Thanks.
The voting rolls for my election district used to include a Richard Belzer with the same birthday as the late actor but a birth year a decade off.
I never ventured up the remote side road the address was on for signatures to ascertain whether it was a namesake or a clerical error.
