Volunteering at these games was the MOST WONDERFUL thing I had done in ages. It was so REWARDING. What a GREAT bunch of people, especially the kids. Wow. The kids were phenomenal — so polite, so enthusiastic, so engaging, so cooperative. I just couldn’t get enough. And the other volunteers. It was awesome & humbling.
As some of you know, I am no stranger to volunteering & putting service above self. What struck me the most was that there were NO egos, no politics! The volunteers were there for the games & THE KIDS. That is all that counter. I met & interacted with some wonderful people. WOW. Made my day.
Yes, I have already signed up for 2 more days of volunteering for them. Will do MORE if I can.
This is GREAT CAUSE. If you can, you should help out too.

Yes, it always cheers me — no end {though I don’t really need that much cheering, since I am “Mr. Happy”}.
It was CUTE to find out, thanks to the ‘BBC‘ (again), that today was SECOND centennial of its first public performance. Wow.
