The ‘Chimney Trail‘ at Moose Cove (at Bog Brook Cove) is my 2nd favorite hike of the ‘Bold Coast‘. It is easy & quick. These two videos should make that clear. Also please see below.

Yesterday, I showed you some pictures of ‘Hamilton Cove’, ‘Bold Coast‘, Maine.
Today, let me take you to ‘Moose Cove‘ on ‘Bog Brook Preserve‘ a tad further south.
Another of my favorite places on the Bold Coast.
There are, as you can see from the map, other hiking options there. The ‘chimney trail’ is but one. But, it has great, iconic views.
The eponymous chimney is easy to miss! It is on the inland side of the trail. So, if you have your eyes towards the coast, you can walk past it — as I did TWICE. I had to retrace my steps to see it. Hence, this post. I wanted to make sure you did not miss it.
