I have been hearing about it, i.e., Microsoft’s newly released ‘PC Manager‘, all over the place for the last 48 hours. Folks were RAVING about it.
I didn’t really need it. I keep my PCs quite clean and up to-date — & I don’t have any performance issues. But, I wanted to try it out. I did.
Not bad. Nothing spectacular. I have tools that do all of this. But, it is all in one place and it is from Microsoft — for FREE. So what did I have to lose.
Try it out. On an older PC it might do some good.

I was BULLISH on ARM from the start. I was familiar with ARM. I knew it would do well.
I did NOT believe the naysayers — including ‘Jim Cramer‘. I know the SEMI business. I have been in SEMIs for 12+ years. SMILE.
I buy SEMIs whenever I can. I bought semis last week, & earlier this week, ON THE DIP. SMILE. I LOVE SEMIs. SMILE.
I told YOU folks to BUY ARM. So don’t blame me. Here is my PROOF that I told YOU to buy ARM.
In late September I spoke with a Financial Advisor — socially. He had never heard of ARM. That is why I avoid Financial Advisors. AMILE.

I told you about this, i.e., SPYWARE pre-installed on AceMagic mini PCs, as soon as I heard about it. I happened to see a YouTube video & a news story on the same day.
I was NOT amused.
This was NOT good. This was intentional. They can’t claim it was accidental.
My concern is that this will tarnish all of the sector. Now, I have tried Geekom, Minisforum and Beelink mini PCs in the last few weeks. All three were CLEAN and none of them had any bloatware. The Geekom IT12, that I opted to keep, was a very clean and good install. I was impressed.
But, this makes you nervous to deal with any of these Chinese mini PC companies.
I recommend that you stick to ASUS, Geekom and Beelink. I am not happy with Minisforum, for now.
