‘Social Security Benefits’ Worksheet for Tax Year 2023 (i.e., Filing In 2024) — No Changes From Last Year.

My ‘Qualified Dividends And Capital Gain Tax’ Excel worksheet I posted last year & then updated this year, have proved to be unexpectedly popular. So, I thought I would do a ‘Social Security Benefits’ worksheet too.

This is NOT sophisticated or fancy. It is very SIMPLE & BASIC.

PLEASE check my math on the Excel. It is very, very basic. I had looked around for a spreadsheet like this. SIMPLE. Not complicated. Check the formulas. Make sure I haven’t screwed up.

I haven’t done my taxes as yet. So, I have NOT used this 2023 version of the Excel. But, I used it last year, & it was fine. Many folks have used this last year & in 2024. OK?

My recommendation on how to use this.
1/ First do a paper one by hand using a pencil & calculator.
2/ THEN check your math using this Excel.

Then you should be all set. Got that. Double check. Double check. Triple check.

Yes, I looked at ‘Excel1040‘. It was OVERKILL for my needs. I just needed to check my math.

So, IF you have a similar need, give this a spin. It is SAFE. No macros. Just the simplest of formulas. But, check my math. SMILE.

It will write about ‘The Tourist‘ once I finished watching all six episodes — in the next couple of days. Quite the STORY. Quite the show. Wow.

But, 20 minutes into Episode 1 I realized that they were showing a LOT — & I mean a LOT — of fat & obese people. Initially it looked like a joke. I was like “no way”. Australians aren’t fat. But, they showed so many, I had to Google it. I was blown away. WOW.

I then even asked an Australian friend. He, this morning, CONFIRMED it. Wow. Australians.

I know some of you won’t believe this, but I don’t check this stuff. I just happened to notice it today. SMILE.

It is NOT making me rich — that is a fact & a given. Check the prices. But it makes me happy & for I, happiness is better than money (because people tell me that money doesn’t make you happy (though I am not totally convinced of that)).
