‘Jesus’, Of Course, Wasn’t White. He Was A Man Of Color, Probably Not As Colorful As Me. But, NOT White.

White ‘Jesus‘ was the creation of Italian, renaissance artist who were mainly familiar with white skinned folk.

Jesus was extremely unlikely to have been white.

A British term, which was often used to describe me, best characterizes Jesus. WOG. (Yes, golliwog comes from it.) WOG = a person from the Middle East.

Jesus was NOT black either. He was NOT from Africa. He was a Wog.

Tanned. A brown tint. Probably a few shades lighter than I, but definitely yet, a man of color.

I had known that most of my life. Jesus looked more like me than he looks like Trump. Period. Definitely not orange.

And he did NOT speak English, or for that matter Greek or Latin. Period.

OK … OK … OK. They will open a tad more, BUT this is pretty close to them being in bloom. The pink that was missing yesterday, is now there. As far as I am concerned we can rejoice. The lady slippers are in bloom. SMILE. Enjoy.

As you can see we are nearly there. The bloom is formed & has started to peek through. Notice that the bloom is all white at this stage. No pink. I will continue to go by daily.

‘University Of New Hampshire’ (UNH) TV Commercial Reflects How White NH Still Is — & How Some Would Like It To Be.

Screen grab from YouTube video below.

Yes, from what I can see there are three non-white (or non-Caucasian) ‘kids’ in this TV commercial. But, in my opinion, all three are pretty ‘diluted‘ (so to speak) and as ‘light‘ as they can be.

I visit UNH quite often. I know they have a fairly large Asian contingent. But, that hardly comes through in this commercial.

I was watching my local WMUR TV (Channel 9) at 6pm, mainly for an update on the snow storm we had just endured, when this UNH commercial aired. I did a double take. I rewound it — twice. I was ‘disappointed’. Yes, it was made in 2020.

I moved to NH in 1986. Yes, it was considerably whiter then. There were many kids who had never seen a non-white in the flesh. I know. I was told. Things have changed, but not much & mainly in the southern most tier, i.e., Manchester & below.

I think UNH could do better. Wouldn’t YOU say so?
