Ran into this problem again with my daughter’s return. Yes, we trade stock options on her account. SMILE. Come on. It is like printing money. Why wouldn’t you trade, if you can.

I will readily admit that NEGATIVE ‘Total Proceeds’ is esoteric & unusual BUT it happens as I have been moaning about for the last 4 years. Yes, it is counter-intuitive. I will readily grant you that. Yes, it basically says you sold some investment instruments at a negative value. So, how does that happen. This mostly happens with option trading. When you option loses money & then it expires or is bought at a loss.

I confess, often, to being addicted to option trading. That the proceeds are NEGATIVE does NOT mean we are losing money. SMILE. SMILE again. Most times getting a negative return is good — you make some money & get a tax break. SMILE. What can I say. It is all legal.

Free File Fillable Forms might not work for you. Be careful.

I So Wish That GOD Would Take Better Care Of His Faithful Catholic Clerics (Inc. Pope).

IF I prayed, this is what I would pray for. That God would take better care of his faithful Catholic clerics — starting with the pope.

Yes, yes — I know all about ‘Free Will’ (or ‘Free Williy‘ as I call it) & how God does not micro-manage.

But, come on. He is said to know all. So, he had to know this was about to happen.

Poor priest. Doing the GLORY of GOD and then this.

And we have the poor, crippled pope. God should be nicer to the pope. He is an old man. Cut him some slack. Don’t make him a cripple. Give him non-stop HICCUPS as was the case with WWII pope Pius XII. I could live with the pope hiccuping as he spoke. Better than seeing him hunched in a wheelchair.

Come on God. Be NICE. Be nice — like I am. SMILE.

So, so GLAD & relieved that we got a big ‘Generac‘ last Summer. WOW. Could NOT have dealt with this without that.

Crazy. SECOND 24+ hour plus outage in 2 weeks. This is climate change.

That it came back and then went OFF was frustrating. I didn’t have to do anything. Generac comes on by itself. Felt bad for those with portable generators. Luckily many around here had just kept theirs going.

Met some of the crew restoring power. They were from Kentucky! They had flown to Connecticut and then come over in CT trucks. Very nice. Showed me one of the blown fuses. I gave them chocolates. Least I could do.

Also lent one of our portable generators to a neighbor who didn’t have a generator. That was good — though they got power back 2 hours later. Always the case. When we first got our generators … sister-in-law and husband drove from Maine with them (purchased from Sears). 20 minutes after they arrived, before we could even unload the boxes, power was back.

Not sure IF we are out of the woods yet. Lot of snow on trees.

But, glad we have had power, uninterrupted, for 6 hours. Fingers crossed.
