I am becoming increasingly BULLISH on him.
He can come across as a sensible, pragmatic, CENTRALIST willing to entertain some progressive reform. In this homily he does just that. Bravo. I am chuffed. Way to go Gregory. You are going to do me proud.

I got the above, a few days ago, in an e-mail. It was sad & distressing. After a 7- or 8-year break, I did go to the ‘Christmas Revels‘ by ‘Revels North’ in 2023. I, as I had done for a few years in the past, went to BOTH ‘Revels North’ & ‘Revels Cambridge‘.
Revels North, way back, c. 1998, was how I got into Revels — now a cherished, much longed for annual ritual. They used to do GRAND show.
This is a shame.
Revels Cambridge is THRIVING. They are just selling $300 tickets for a PUB event! As you might know I, a few weeks ago, attended their Spring Equinox event. That was good.
I feel bad for Revels North. They are in bad shape.
I hope they can get out of the ‘hole’ they are in. The Christmas Revels is the SHOWCASE for any Revels outfit. IF you don’t stage that, you will have trouble attracting attention.
But, I wish Revels North all the very best. I might even contact ‘Alex’ (who I know) & have a chat.

I am NOW truly a senior, with over 45 years of SOLID (& often painful) stock market experience. I remember living through the Y2K (i.e., year 2000) NASDAQ crash. I was fully invested then, nearly all of it on the NASDAQ. DITTO, today. SMILE.
I, as I often state, ONLY invest in things I understand — & that tends to be (High) TECH. I have been in TECH most of the last 40 years — & I AM NOT COMPLAINING. SMILE.
Today was a good day. Nah! That is a lie. Today was a GREAT DAY. SMILE.
This has been a good year. SMILE. The last 12 months has been good.
But, this is NOT RIGHT. There is too much uncalled for irrational exuberance. The NASDAQ should NOT have gone up 1.7% today. Not right. Fundamentals don’t support that.
I am PREDICTING that we will have a MEANINGFUL PULLBACK in Tech soon — before June. That has to be the case. This is not right.
Mark my words (again). SMILE.

I cracked up laughing when I saw this. Being appointed a nuncio isn’t always a good thing. It all depends on what COUNTRY you are assigned.
No guarantee that Ganswein will be sent to any SWANKY posts such as the U.S., France, Australia, or even Japan. China wouldn’t be too bad either. But, the pope could also send him to a war zone, a country in economic despair or outer-mongolia.
Basically what the pope has done is yank Ganswein out of the COMFORT of being in Germany. Now, as a nuncio, he can send him to Ukraine, Zambia or Nicaragua. Ganswein is NOT going to be happy.
Just a few days ago I wrote (in my latest book) that one of the most effective punishments that a pope can deal a cardinal is to make him ‘Nuncio to Outer Mongolia‘. And then, this, today. LoL.
Francis, in his dotage, is cranky. Aren’t people calling him vindictive?
In his recent spate of interviews he made clear that Ganswein was a thorn in his side. So, now he is going to settle scores.
What we have to now watch for is WHERE will be send Ganswein.
It will be funny.
Pretty clever move by the pope. LoL.
