I have NEVER liked ‘Bill Barr‘. I don’t like him now either. But, on this matter, I (ALAS) have to agree with him — since I feel, 100%, the SAME WAY.

Biden is NOW a bigger threat to the welfare of the U.S. than Trump!

It is true. Biden is weak, indecisive and nobody respects him. The borders are BEYOND A MESS and inflation is unabetting. I am so fed up of seeing him shuffling about, looking lost & confused and talking like the VERY OLD MAN he is. We need a STRONG President.

I am NOT sure I can vote for Trump, BUT I will NOT (I repeat, ‘NOT’), vote for Biden.

Biden is letting us ALL down. The world thinks we are weak. As I have pointed out the U.K. & Poland have already ACCEPTED that Trump will be the next president. There can no longer be any doubt or debate that Trump will WIN the November election by a landslide. I doubt whether Biden will more than 5 states!

It is now beyond a forgone conclusion.

Donald Trump will indeed be the next President of the U.S.

Joe Biden is toast, burnt toast. Watching him campaigning in Pennsylvania is embarrassing. I keep on looking for the IV stand on wheels trailing him. He looks pathetic. He looks what he is. A very old man, shuffling about with no bloody clue.

Though I am NOT a fan of Trump, I am, in a way, relieved that he will be President. This country is in a mess. The border needs sorting out. And yes, his economic policies will not hurt me. SMILE.

So, I am resigned to it. His presidency will be better than what we have now — which is NOTHING. NADA. No-Op. Biden is a disgrace!

Though they have had their fair amount of screwups, the British government, by and large, tends to have its finger on the pulse and can be pretty sharp and savvy when it come to global politics.

They have accepted the reality that Donald Trump will easily beat bumbling ‘Joe Biden‘ in November to AGAIN be President.

“David Cameron’s” meeting with Donald Trump, at ‘Mar-a-Lago’, on Monday, did not get much media coverage in the U.S.

But this is HUGE.

This is the British government already acknowledging that Trump will be the next President.

I agree.

Trump will win. Trump will beat Biden. Trump will be the next President.

My hat off to the British government for being this smart.

Chances That NEXT POPE Will Be From The U.S. Has INCREASED Now That Trump Will Be NEXT PRESIDENT.

That Donald Trump will indeed become the Next U.S. President in January 2025 is what is tilting the odds in favor of a U.S. Pope.

What used to be the ‘White House East‘ issue has now been turned upside down on its head. The world is NOT going to be scared that the U.S. will wield too power, they are already concerned that the U.S. will become cease to have a ‘Worldview’. The U.S., under Trump, will become very (maybe ultra) isolationist.

Trump will have no time or respect for a WEAK Pope. Can you see Trump with Tagle? I already have a list of nicknames that Trump will use to describe Tagle if he was to become Pope and say ONE WORD against Trump, his policies or the U.S.

Trump will TOLERATE a U.S. Pope — even IF the new pope is NOT white.

Trump is SMART, v. smart. He will NOT alienate his BASE. He will play nice with a U.S. pope.

The savvy electors (and there are SOME) will know this.

Right now, the Americas have 35 electors. Europe 54. Oceania 3. That is 92. A U.S. pope should be able to get at least 70% of these votes, i.e., 64. That is 22. SHORT of the required 2/3 majority. Africa & Asia have 37 votes. So, a U.S. pope will need 22 of these votes.

But, here is what will happen. MOMENTUM. O’Malley or Gregory will garner momentum. I feel more and more confident.

I could be wrong. I could be DEAD wrong. But, you can see how and what I am THINKING.

‘Dean Phillips’, After Last Night, Should Now Run As A 3rd Party Candidate — NOTHING TO LOSE, Nothing At Stake.

When I was lucky enough to be introduced to him, I told him that I could NOT support him as a 3rd Party Candidate. We couldn’t afford to have any votes split. We couldn’t afford to lose a single vote. That was last October.

Then we had last night’s NIGHTMARE. Car crash …

Now ALL IS LOST.

ALL IS LOST.

No longer matters.

So, Dean might as well start getting name recognition for 2028.

He needs to run as a 3rd Party Candidate.

I saw that ‘they’ (high campaign staff) were FILMING us as we spoke (& walked back to his bus). I kind of had a HUNCH that I would appear in SOME campaign Ad. I am STILL a rarity in New Hampshire — a non-white.

I only appear FLEETINGLY in the Ad. You don’t even have to blink to miss the shot. But, that is OK. Glad it shows me deep in talk. So, as you can see it wasn’t a meaningless ‘meet-and-shake‘.

I liked him.

As I said that day itself, I would have NO PROBLEMS supporting him for President.

I could even CAMPAIGN for him — & I have NOT campaigned for ANYONE since Obama in 2012!

I Can TOTALLY Support ‘Dean Phillips’ For President. Talked With Him For 10-Mins. Today. Very Impressive.

I lucked out (as is my wont). I was in ‘Laconia‘, this afternoon, at the same time he was. And I there are a FEW people in ‘the party’ who know me. They arranged for me to talk with him. He was heading back to his bus. I walked with him (in a light rain shower).

He assured me, right up front, that he will NOT run against Biden.

That was PARAMOUNT. I will NOT support a Third-Party candidate or anyone who plans to run against Biden.

We CANNOT — WE CANNOT — afford to have the vote SPLIT. We need every single vote.

Once that was out of the way, we had a good, productive — albeit short — chat.

He is impressive. Very personable. Very much a PEOPLE PERSON. He connects well.

Talks well. Has presence.

And he is YOUNG. He is FIT. Wow.

I can — AND WILL — support him. IF he becomes the CANDIDATE I will campaign for him, tirelessly (& with my pocketbook) like I did for ‘Obama‘ in 2008 (Primary & Election) & 2012.

Was ‘Franklin Pierce’ (#14) The 1st President To Be Arrested, Rather Than ‘Donald Trump’ (#45)?

Funny thing. I came across this reference to ‘Franklin Pierce‘ getting arrested for riding over an old woman in the ‘Audible‘ book I am currently listening to, viz. ‘Mad Honey‘. I had never heard of that. We all keep getting told that ‘Trump’ is the first. Yes, I had heard that my hero ‘Ulysses S. Grant‘ was ‘stopped’ (if not arrested) for reckless horse-riding. But, this allegation about New Hampshire’s own (& only) was new. I had to look it up.

I quickly realized that this might NOT have been exactly as portrayed BUT that there was ‘something’ there — i.e., some fairly serious accident involving the President. Maybe he wasn’t arrested per se. But, I wanted to bring it to YOU attention since it is so topical.

I do not know him personally & have never met him (nor his father). That is unusual. Over the last 20 years I have met most if not all the NH governors — bar Sununu. But, then again I don’t frequent the State House as much as I used to or do any political campaigning. Interestingly my 22-year old daughter met him recently at the store she works at. He was there as a normal customer. She said he was very nice. She was impressed. She, being my daughter, has met a fair number of political VIPs … so she knows what is what.

While I know he was raised an ultra-privileged white ‘brat’ — & I have heard stories from locals as to how entitled he used to think he was — he, now in his middle age, is halfway decent. Unlike so many of today’s Republican politicians he is not totally rabid. He even makes sense sometimes.

He is, of course, ultra popular in NH & he has done OK by the State.

If he runs the rest of the field might as well skip the NH Primary. He will win it by such a huge margin that it would be embarrassing.

I would like to see him run. I would like to see him be the Republican 2024 candidate. He will be a good candidate.

I am resigned that in 2024 the Republicans will WIN. Biden has been a disappointment. So, if there is to be a Republican president, in 2024, I would rather it be Chris Sununu than anyone else.

I have NOT been a Sri Lankan citizen since 1983, i.e., 39 years. My adoptive parents are gone & as such I have not had any involvement with Sri Lankan politicians in close to 20 years. So, I can afford to be caustic.

The optics just don’t look good.

Poor country, fat president. Yes, North Korea comes to mind too — never mind Idi Amin.

Some restraint & self-control would be nice to see. Yes, I have heard the stories of rampant corruption. I guess some of it at a minimum probably has a basis. The sad thing is that he looks the part. A man who likes to indulge.

I really have no axe to grind. I happened to see the above pictures & it struck me as incongruous. All the 5 men on that stage are overfed. Sad.
