Wow. WOw. WOW!

This is HUGE NEWS.

It may not be as BIG as Trump’s indictment (& all the revelations with it) BUT this is STILL HUGE — both for the U.K. & the World.

Boris TOO was an important, influential Word Leader. For Christ’s sake he was the U.K. Prime Minister. THE MAN who made Brexit a reality.

He had trump were in office in parallel. They were both physically big & rotund, had ‘interesting’ blonde hair & publicily womanized. That, however, is as far as any similarities went. Boris is ultra smart & competent. Yes, like Clinton he thought he could get away with some mischief. Like Clinton he got caught (alas, multiple times).

I had visions that he, like OUR SHARED HERO ‘Churchill‘, would come back as PM. Bit difficult now that he quit being an MP. Yes, he can run again at a future election. He most likely will win.

Oh, dear. I feel bad. I have ALWAYS been a BIG Boris believer. I like Boris. I don’t like Trump.

First time this week that I went out other than for my multiple, daily rambles.

So, it was time to wear my Red Poppies. I was just going to wear one of my Canadian ones, but in the end decided to wear two. SMILE. I was going to wear my prized ‘Churchill‘ one, but it is small & at such most would not have noticed (& worse still, not recognized it). So, I played it safe.

It sure as hell is NOT going to be ‘Biden‘. Biden is old, tired & gutless. He is even worse that ‘Neville Chamberlain‘. It definitely will not be ‘Kamala Harris‘! She, quite literally, does not have the kahunas. ‘Boris Johnson‘ has some of the Winston spunk but he, alas, does not have the standing, following, experience or charisma. ‘Macron’ has already tried BUT he also, unfortunately, doesn’t have the clout. And THIS is what is going to be the difference.

WE, the free world, lacks a CHAMPION.

Don’t start jabbering on about starting a nuclear war. We have had over 50 years to plan for this. Nuclear deterrent & all of that. The trillions & trillions spent on the military & we now claim we don’t have an option? Ah?

To make the claim that Ukraine is NOT a NATO country is lame. Ukraine has been trying to become a NATO country. But, let’s put that aside.

What will we (i.e., NATO) do if Russia makes a move on Poland?

Why can’t we do that same move NOW — preemptively?

So, if Russia encroaches on Poland we will RISK a nuclear confrontation — BUT we will NOT do that for Ukraine? Is that what this is all about.

What happens if Russia attacks us with a cyberwar?

These sanctions are a BLOODY JOKE. The only risk to Putin is he might have a choking fit as he laughs at how impotent Biden is.

This, alas, is not a JOKE. This is serious.

Those that have studied WWII understand the pivotal role that Churchill played. Hitler knew that Churchill was his enemy.

Where is OUR Churchill?

Without a Churchill things will be very BLEAK for US & the World.

Think about it. This is serious stuff.

The Sad Passing Of DEAR ‘Desmond Tutu’ Is A Great Loss For All Of Humanity.

Dear Desmond Tutu was a GREAT Man.

He was one of my heroes. An august member in my small & very select pantheon of heroes alongside the likes of: Gandhi, Mandela, Churchill, Lincoln, Obama, Ulysses S. Grant et. al. I turned to him for inspiration. He never failed me.

He reminded me, greatly, of my Doctor Uncle (my adoptive mother’s brother who was indeed a doctor). They were the same height, both dark, both bundles of energy, both with the same wonderful gift of humor — & BOTH devoted to serving their country & others. I miss my uncle, & now I will miss MY MAN, Desmond.

He was good man. If he was Catholic (& maybe it is a good thing that he wasn’t) he would have made a great Pope. One as good as my favorite Pope, John XXIII.

There is no much I need to say about Dear Desmond. His record will ever proclaim what a treasure he was.

Thank YOU Desmond. You made a HUGE difference. I will miss you.
